I used to think Salads were boring, until I realized with a little bit of effort, a salad can be an exciting way to get all my daily nutrients through fruits and vegetables!

It’s always important to get fresh fruits and vegetables, as the value of the nutrients diminishes overtime. Eating vegetables grown from one’s own environment will contain the most nutrition. After all, the true goal of cooking is to provide higher nutritional value to our bodies.

Strawberries are rich with antioxidants and Vitamin C, which reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. One cup is all you need for your entire daily intake.

During Summer times I want to have a light meal so I have the energy to go explore the outdoors. This salad is easy on the stomach and has a satisfying, flavorful taste. It is perfect for the summer! Give it a try and head over to our Instagram: @priscottypure or Facebook: @priscottypurewellness to post a comment letting me know what you think.
